We host the Gorlaeus Writing Group for students writing their thesis, colloquium essay, or other assignments. Many students experience writing an essay or their final BSc or MSc report as an obstacle. They do not know how to start or structure their writing or endlessly make changes to the text without getting any further. In addition, students can become demotivated after working on their report for a long time.
At Gorlaeus Writing Group, student writing coach Jetse van Os (MSc Chemistry student) will be present to help you out. The Leiden Science writing coaches are specifically trained to assist fellow students with their writing assignments. So, if you are struggling with the structure of a report, unsure about the clarity of your text, or want to discuss a planning for your assignment, do not hesitate to sign up for the Writing Group!
