Op donderdag 12 maart vieren we Pi-dag op de faculteit met een gezellige bakcompetitie en taartproeverij. We nodigen zowel studenten als medewerkers uit om hun beste taart mee te nemen en te laten beoordelen door een deskundige jury onder leiding van Heel Holland Bakt-halvefinalist Jurian Calis (masterstudent Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences).
Meld je hier aan voor de bakcompetitie! Je bakt thuis een taart en neemt deze mee naar de faculteit. Om 14:30 uur ben je welkom in het Atrium op de 1e verdieping om je taart te presenteren. Om 15:00 uur starten we met het proeven van alle baksels. Daarna zal een deskundige jury bekendmaken welke taarten in de prijzen vallen en wie zich de trotse winnaar mag noemen met de titel ‘Leiden Science meesterbakker’.
On Thursday, 12 March, we will celebrate Pi Day at the faculty with a fun baking competition and pie tasting. We invite both students and staff to bring along their best pie to be judged by an expert jury led by Heel Holland Bakt semifinalist Jurian Calis (MSc student Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences).
Sign up here for the baking competition! You bake a pie at home and bring it to the faculty. You are welcome to present your pie in the Atrium on the 1st floor at 2:30 p.m. At 3:00 p.m., we will start tasting all the baked goods. Afterwards, an expert jury will announce which pies win prizes and who may proudly call themselves the winner with the title of “Leiden Science master baker.”
