Sign Up to Become a Mentor (Buddy)

Thank you for your interest in becoming a buddy in the Humanities Buddy Programme!

Please complete this form to be paired with a group of incoming international Master’s students or Dutch students who are new to Leiden. As a buddy, you’ll play a key role in helping them settle in and participate in fun activities throughout the upcoming semester. The programme runs during the first semester from September until December. The Welcome Event will take place on Friday September 12th from 3:00-5:00PM in the Hortus Botanicus in Leiden.

Please note: To join as a buddy, you must be a Master’s student at Leiden University.

How it Works

We’ll match you with another buddy (mentor), together you will mentor a group of 12-15 students.
You'll take part in two fun, free events each month with your group.
It’s a great way to meet people, build friendships, and enjoy student life in Leiden or The Hague!
