To apply for the Leiden University Global Fund – Seed fund for collaboration with priority partners in the regions, please fill out this application form before 30 September 2025 (23:59 CET). Make sure to complete the form and accept the terms and conditions at the bottom. Without a completed form, your application cannot be considered in the selection process.

Main applicant:
The main applicant is appointed, academic staff at Leiden University. Note that as a main applicant or co-applicant from Leiden University, you can only be apply with one proposal. |

Co-applicant 1:
Co-applicants 1 are colleagues from another faculty at Leiden University. They should be appointed academic staff from another discipline.
If you believe your proposal should be exempt from this requirement, please explain why and argue the interdisciplinarity in the dedicated field further below. |

Co-applicant 2:
Co-applicants 2 are colleagues from one of Leiden University's priority partners in the regions. It is required that at least one priority partner is involved in your proposal. Please select the partner that has a central role in your proposed project and list others in the dedicated fields below. |

Project Proposal:
This section is to describe the contents of your project: aims, activities, budget, strategic value. There is also room to refer to additional partners. Please make sure that the required questions (*) are filled in completely, as these are the requirements for participation. The other fields are important for context and follow-up, but do not influence eligibility for the lottery.
