Within the Green Teams, there are two ways to get involved: as a casual member or as a Green Team Board member.
Casual members join the Green Team community group chat and receive updates about all upcoming events and activities. Your help and ideas for organizing events are always appreciated, but there is no obligation to take on a proactive role unless you would like to.
Green Team Board members are students who would like to take on more responsibility. Board members help plan meetings, maintain contact with LUGO and faculty, and play a more active role in organizing events. This position also offers students a closer look at the university’s sustainability practices through collaboration with LUGO and university leadership. The role typically requires around 1–2 hours per week
