On the occasion of the "Through the Hands of Signers" symposium, we are organizing a guided tour of Leiden in sign language, led by a deaf guide on July 9th - the day before the symposium.
This tour will introduce you to the city’s rich history through its iconic landmarks and figures, particularly those tied to the deaf community!
There will be two tours: one in the morning at 11:00 and one in the afternoon at 16:00. Both tours will be in Dutch Sign Language (NGT) and International Sign (IS). Please let us know which tour you’d like to join and how many people will be attending.

Ter gelegenheid van het symposium "Through the Hands of Signers" organiseren wij op 9 juli — de dag voor het symposium — een rondleiding in gebarentaal door Leiden, onder leiding van een dove gids.
Deze rondleiding neemt je mee door de rijke geschiedenis van de stad via iconische bezienswaardigheden en figuren, met name diegenen die verbonden zijn aan de dovengemeenschap!
Er zijn twee rondleidingen: één in de ochtend om 11:00 uur en één in de middag om 16:00 uur. Beide rondleidingen zijn in Nederlandse Gebarentaal (NGT) en Internationaal Gebaar (IS). Laat ons weten aan welke rondleiding je wilt deelnemen en met hoeveel mensen jullie komen.
