Part III: Training
As a guide you will develop your skills by participating in interactive training which will also help you to prepare for the role of a guide. Training will be divided into two meetings. Content of each training is different and it is strongly recommended to take part in both meetings. Trainings will take place in Leiden.
The first training (4 hours) will consist of following subjects: presenting style, building authority, communication, setting goals with a group, diversity & inclusion, and social impact of the guide’s role. No preparation from your side is needed.
The second training (3 hours) has no fixed content. You might think about what subjects would you like to discuss with the coach and other guides. This training will be a great opportunity to ask the questions to the coach, exchange tips with other guides or practice what you've already learned on a more advanced level.
Both training sessions will take place in the second half of October. The exact location and timing of the sessions will be provided in July. |
